Cost of Business Registration in Nigeria
The cost of registering a business with the CAC in Nigeria depends on the type of business structure you choose:
- Business Name (Sole Proprietorship/Enterprise): Around NGN 10,000 to NGN 15,000 for the official CAC fee. Service providers may charge NGN 20,000 to NGN 30,000 inclusive of processing.
- Limited Liability Company (LLC): Official CAC fees start at NGN 20,000, but with professional service charges, it can go up to NGN 60,000 or more depending on share capital.
- NGO or Incorporated Trustees: From NGN 50,000 upwards depending on the documents, legal declarations, and publication requirements.
